Tuttle's final position at Morgan Stanley was as the senior trader on a global proprietary trading desk that based all of its decisions on the results of quantitative modeling. In this capacity he traded stocks, bonds, financial futures, commodity futures, and currencies, as well as managing junior traders. He also participated in the development of computer-driven trading models and market impact models.

Dr. Tuttle's tenure at Morgan Stanley was absolutely invaluable from both a skill development and an educational standpoint. He has experienced what can and cannot be easily done from inside one of the most successful proprietary trading groups on Wall Street.
